AT Expo 2008 is the 10th conference and exhibit hall event held by Assistive Technology for Kansans. Our two goals are:
CONFERENCE SESSIONS
Conference sessions and workshops will be conducted by national presenters who will address some of the latest research findings, intervention practices and implementation strategies in the area of assistive technology. Sessions will address AT needs for persons of all ages and disabilities.

Continuing education hours (CEUs) are being applied for through KDHE. All conference attendees will receive a signed attendance certificate and be able to track session hours for use with professional development plans as well as tracking CEUs.
AT Expo 2008 conference sessions will be held from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM on Oct 1st and 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM on Oct 2nd. Lunch will be provided on the 1st and a continental breakfast on the 2nd to paid conference attendees.
AT EXPO HALL
The AT Expo exhibit hall is open to the public as well as conference attendees. See the latest innovations for helping children, adults and seniors with disabilities and chronic health conditions live more independently. Over 60 public exhibits of assistive technology, durable medical equipment and service agencies with displays and demonstrations. Friends and family members are welcome! AT Expo Exhibit Hall hours are Noon to 6:00 PM on Oct. 1 and 8:00 - Noon on Oct. 2. The Grand Opening of the exhibit hall is from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM on the 1st.

ATK is the statewide assistive technology program, coordinated by the Kansas University Center on Disabilities at Parsons. The program is guided by a statewide Advisory Council composed of individuals with disabilities, family members and representatives from Kansas agencies. ATK has five AT Access Sites and a statewide Equipment Loan System. Staff at the sites provide information on AT devices and services to Kansans with disabilities. Scholarships
A limited number of consumer scholarships are available. Call 620-421-8367. Registration fee includes workshops, reception, lunch, continental breakfast, breaks, and complimentary backpack tote. The registration is non-refundable. Substitutes are allowed.
